Global Polish Student Society
GPSS builds a bridge between Poland and the world's top universities. We empower young Poles to study globally, grow in strong student communities abroad, and stay connected to opportunities in Poland.
About Us
We are a global network of Polish students studying abroad. Our mission is built on three pillars: Inspire, Unite and Return.
Inspire
We help Polish high school students reach the world's top universities through 1:1 mentoring, webinars and an open knowledge base. Our goal is to make studying abroad achievable and transparent, guided by students who have already done it.
Unite
We foster a strong global community of Polish students. By working with Polish Societies and organising cultural and social events, we build a sense of belonging, collaboration and pride – no matter where you study.
Return
We believe global experience should strengthen Poland. Through conferences and study trips organised with Polish companies and institutions, we show the opportunities waiting back home and encourage students to turn their international experience into impact in Poland.
Our Initiatives
Four key projects carry out our mission in practice.
Study Trip
Study Trip is a week-long excursion into Poland's business scene, created originally in the Netherlands and now open to Polish students from across Europe. Its purpose is to build a fast-paced bridge between ambitious young Poles abroad and top companies driving Polish business. Participants move between workshops, networking dinners, company visits, conferences and real recruitment opportunities – all designed to spark connections, conversations and future careers.
Mentoring
Our Mentoring Program supports Polish high school students who aim to study at leading universities worldwide. It connects applicants with Polish students studying abroad, offering 1:1 guidance, webinars and an open-access knowledge platform. The programme makes global education opportunities clearer, more accessible and backed by credible, peer-driven insight.
Reunion Hackathon
Reunion Hackathon brings 100 of the best Polish students from universities abroad to Warsaw for 48 hours (5–7 February 2027). Teams work on real AI challenges set by partner companies and institutions, with mentors at their side and a demo day in front of a jury. It is our way of showing that the next step after studying abroad can be building in Poland.
About the hackathonConference
Our annual conference in Poland is a meeting space for Polish students studying internationally who want to explore career, research and leadership opportunities in the Polish ecosystem. The event gathers students from top universities to engage in discussions, expert sessions and networking with companies, institutions and public stakeholders – showing how international experience can translate into meaningful contribution in Poland.
